This policy explains what personal information SaralGPL (saralgpl.com, “we”, “us”) collects, why we collect it and how we protect it. It is written to follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information we collect

  • Account and order details: your name, email address, phone number, billing address and the products you buy.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay’s secure systems; we never see or store your full card or bank details. We only receive the payment status and a transaction reference.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type and pages visited, recorded in server logs for security and to prevent fraud.
  • Messages you send us, for example support requests, and product reviews you choose to publish.

2. How we use your information

  • To process orders, deliver your downloads and send order emails.
  • To provide customer support and handle refund requests.
  • To keep the website and your account secure and to prevent fraud.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask to receive them.

3. Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the shop, and only as much as they need:

  • Razorpay, to process payments.
  • Our email delivery provider, to send order and account emails.
  • Cloudflare and our hosting provider, to deliver and protect the website.
  • Government or law-enforcement authorities when the law requires it.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, remember your cart and protect the site from abuse. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, but login, cart and checkout will not work without them.

5. How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require. Account details are kept while your account is active. Server logs are deleted automatically after a few weeks.

6. Security

The whole website uses HTTPS encryption. Access to customer data is restricted and limited to authorised staff with strong passwords.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal information, or close your account, at any time. Some order records may have to be kept for legal reasons. You can update most details yourself under My Account → Account details.
